    • Synopsis
    • The first years of the 00s were a golden time for Danish rap with local heroes like Malk de Koijn, Raske Penge, L.O.C and Jonny Hefty. It’s been 20 years since Norwegian Runar Gudnason picked up a camera in Aalborg and started filming the booming rap scene before heading back to Norway to become a well-known rapper. The film was never finished, but now Runar has found the old reels again, and with understated humour and self-irony, he visits his old friends and draws a line from his youth to today, where his grown son lives in Copenhagen and makes music himself in his bedroom. 'I Got Words' is a personal tale of rhyme, rap, rhythm and sound - and of life and all that.
