WESTERN NORWAY FILM FUND
Description
Western Norway Film Fund promotes and encourages the region's audiovisual production sector, administers state and regional funds, and champions Western Norway as a leading destination for international film and series production. Recent films and docs: I GOT WORDS (CPH:DOX -23), WAR SAILOR (TIFF -22), THE NIGHTMARE (Fantastic Fest -22). Recent minority co-productions: MOTHERLAND (CPH:DOX -23), MORE THAN EVER (Un Certain Regard -22), HOW TO SAVE A DEAD FRIEND (Visions du Réel -22).
Objective
We are in Cannes primarily to meet international producers with upcoming projects suitable for Western Norway. Recent titles shot in Western Norway include SUCCESSION S4, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING PART ONE, BLACK WIDOW, DUNE, NO TIME TO DIE, WILD MEN and others.
