- Synopsis
- Sixties in Czechoslovakia. Rock 'n' roll blasting from the radio, miniskirts and student revolts are changing the world.
  Tomáš starts a new job at a prestigious radio station only to find himself caught up in a dangerous game between the editors and the secret service. A compromising recording and everyone's lives are at stake. The protagonist faces a difficult choice: must he sacrifice his brother or his colleagues fighting for the truth? Jiří Mádl's new film „The Waves“ is based on previously unpublished true stories of journalists from Czechoslovak Radio.
