    • Synopsis
    • Behind world-changing headlines are the men and women who risk everything to speak truth: the whistleblowers. Academy-Award-nominee James Spione shows what it means to challenge unethical behavior in the corridors of power in a post 9/11 US. Introducing three of the most prominent whistleblowers of the era, speaking for the first time in one film, we gain access to the courage it takes to speak up, and the harsh consequences whistleblowers face. Following an alternative narrative of the post 9/11 national security establishment from within, the film exposes an increasingly harsh response by US governments to unauthorized disclosures. Two of the whistleblowers are now counsel to Edward Snowden.
