  The TV drama “Ryujin Mabuyer” started in October 2008 and recorded 9.0% at the maximum audience rating despite its on air time in early morning (Sat @6:45am). It was the birth of the new Okinawan hero character and led to a big social phenomenon. following October 1st 2009, “Ryujin Mabuyer Gaiden! SO Okinawa” on Air at RBC Ryukyu Broadcasting The sequence, “Ryujin Mabuyer 2” on air from Oct 2010 until December and “Ryujin Mabuyer 3” on air from Oct 2011 until December was another successful hit. “Ryujin Mabuyer the movie” makes its big-screen debut in 2011. “Ryujin Mabuyer Comics” was started in 2011 at major weekly magazine.
  Ryujin Mabuyer live-action TV series spanned 5 seasons and a spin-off. The popularity of the show’s Characters continues to grow along with their appearances at local events held constantly throughout the year.
