    • Synopsis
    • "OnZen" is a contemplation and a spiritual trip in the universe of Japanese Zen. Through the life of three characters, we penetrate the essential of Zen: the life of a young monk who learns the basis of Zen, an old Master who meditates and contemplates the nature, and outstanding Japanese musician Stomu Yamash’ta who plays and composes an unreleased music with ancestral stones. These three characters meet in the most secret place in Kyoto, Japan: Daitoku Temple, where mythical monk and poet Ikkyu (1394-1481) rests forever.
During this metaphysical meditation, the four seasons become one, ages of life overlay, teachings connect together, words and gestures link beyond images and sounds in order to make One.
