- Synopsis
- Minimum follows the story of Fauzia, a young immigrant who arrives in Belgium after marrying Ali, a complete stranger, over the phone. She is broke, alone and finds herself with a husband who is not who she thought he was and a mother-in-law who tries by all means to keep her isolated from the world. Laurie, a young French teacher, becomes her only point of contact with the outside world. She teaches her the language and much more... She teaches her the strict minimum.
