    • Noboru Sawada, forty-four years old.

      An art college graduate, not only himself but even those around him once did not doubt his talent and potential, but he has lost such feelings and now works as an assistant in the studio of a charismatic contemporary artist.

      One day, he is involved in a motorcycle accident and is fired from the studio. He devotes to do the painting at his shabby apartment and draws a large "O" (circle) on a canvas. After he brings the "O" to a strange antique shop and has it installed, his life starts to be invaded by the existence of "O".

      Then, a man who calls himself Tsuchiya comes to visit him. He says that he will give 1 million yen for each "O" that meets Tsuchiya's expectation.

      Sawada becomes more and more obsessed with the "O". He realizes that the "O" he brought to the antique shop now becomes a famous art unexpectedly.

      Sawada's "O" is booming as an unidentified artist's work. However, Sawada can not draw the same "O" anymore. At the same time, more and more imposters of Sawada appear. Sawada is no longer sure what he can do, who he is or even whether he is himself...
