- Synopsis
- Barbara, a seemingly cynical woman with a lack of empathy for others that often crosses the line into cruelty, has it all; work, money and lots of sex. But one morning she suddenly loses her job at the robotics company where she works due to a massive layoff, while receiving a mysterious letter from an old flame, Jacques. The letter stirs up a traumatic event from her past, and to top it off, she is in the middle of a separation from her current fiancé, Rodrigo. All this creates a cocktail that leads Bárbara to make a drastic decision: to leave everything behind and embark on a road trip to say goodbye to the people who have meant something in her life, including her sister Gisela, with whom she has had a very bad relationship for some reason for years. She will thus begin a journey of self-discovery and catharsis with an uncertain final destination, in which she will seek redemption with herself.
- Partners & financing
- We have the fourth version of the script, and we will have the final version in June. The project is quite advanced, we have many locations confirmed, some actors and crew confirmed. We are starting the financing process.
  
  The budget as of today is 1.2M.
  
  We will apply to national public funds such as the Canary Islands Government, ICAA and Spanish TVs. Part of the filming will be done in the Canary Islands, where there is a very attractive tax incentive. We are looking for international co-production for the project.

- The idea is to start shooting in the second half of 2023 and release the film in 2024.
