    • Synopsis
    • Connectivity is so present in our lives today that more and more people, particularly young people, do not remember how things were before this technology invaded our ways of working and relating to the world and to others. In a much earlier time, the only electronic communications that we could use, such as radio and television, were one-way, we received but we could not broadcast, at least by the same means. Today, practically all means of communication, between individuals and between groups, are mediated by that technology that we popularly know as the Internet. But there was a time, which we can call the transition stage, in which the tools that today would seem primitive were decanted and perfected in a clearly evolutionary process, until we reached what we know today.

The pioneers of this technology were either in universities or in governments. During that time, before the commercial value of the Internet was exposed, there was a third actor, individuals and organizations from civil society, who gradually embraced technology with the ambitious purpose of changing the world. About them is this story
