- Synopsis
- A Venezuelan filmmaker, after decades of absence, returns to her country in search of the message of hope from a group of farmers who work the land in remote places and hard conditions growing crops whose flavor and extraordinary quality can only be found in Venezuela. The cacao -of centenary reputation-, cocuy -a sophisticated distillate of maguey-, ají margariteño -a sweet bell pepper central to Venezuelan gastronomy- and buffalo cheeses -arrived from the antipodes of the world-. Tierra Adentro shows the struggle of men and women that in spite of adversities bet that the future of their country is built on a new relationship with the land.
