- Synopsis
- Yitian is a radio host raising her son alone in a big city, but she prides herself in having led a great life in general. Yet in the relationship with her troublemaker son, ex-husband, current lover, alcoholic father, and a much too hard-working cousin, we see the bittersweet sorrow of her life. The crisis faced by Yitian and people around her results from the loss of a loved one, the helpless fragility of life in a large Chinese city. Nevertheless, facing their loss and fear, the characters discover their own strengths and take a step forward into the future.
