- Synopsis
- Set in about 1915, the film tells the story of a young flower girl, Frou Frou, when she sings, wins the hearts of all the men in Paris. She is courted by 4 suitors, each hoping to win her favor... but she falls in love with a young painter from whom she has a child, but as she refuses to marry him... Frou Frou is left with her daughter who also leaves her in search of love. Frou Frou forgives her, certain that her daughter will find the happiness that she herself has never known.
