- Synopsis
- To retain control of the triad, Alfred Sim, the aging head of an organized crime syndicate, wants Leo, his only son, to take over him. But he has a problem. Leo is not ready and doesn’t want his job. When rumors of Leo being gay start circulating, Alfred has to convince the Elders in his Council that his son is still worthy of being the successor.
  He turns to his trusted lieutenant and adopted son, Marcus, to get the house in order. But things get complicated when Mani, a former police detective, turns up again at his doorstep. Mani discovered that Shanti, his daughter, used to date Marcus. He uses that to guilt-trap her into becoming a mole and infiltrating the triad.
  Shanti convinces the unsuspecting Marcus to let her stay on the triad’s premises. With each passing day, they rekindle their love for each other, but the unresolved issues between them surface again. Alfred discovers her presence and wants Marcus to end the relationship. Marcus finds himself trapped between love and his loyalty to Alfred.
  To make matters worse, Boey, a disgruntled council member, decides it’s time for a change. He dangles the truth about Marcus’ past in front of him and works to sow discord between him and Alfred.
  Meanwhile, Marcus is trying to save Leo’s skin and introduces him to Xinyi. Marcus saved her from the brothel to fulfill Alfred’s wishes and bring a girl into Leo’s life. While Xinyi is happy in her new role, Leo is abhorred by the idea of being married to a girl. All hell breaks loose when he discovers she’s pregnant with an unknown man’s child.
  Things begin to unravel. Leo suspects things are not right in his surroundings. He discovers Shanti is lying and traces her movement back to Mani.
  Simultaneously, Boey is leading Marcus towards the shocking truth of his past: Alfred killed his father. Can he remain loyal to the man who murdered his family? Mani is getting impatient and decides to fight evil with evil. Unable to find proof to take down the syndicate, he blackmails Shanti into planting fake evidence.
  Leo’s paranoia is leading him to darkness. He finally snaps when he discovers Shanti’s ultimate betrayal. This leads to a series of events that will culminate in Leo’s ascension to become the man his father wants him to be, at a very bloody cost.
