- Synopsis
- Farmer Gu Dahe is kidnapped during his resistance against forced relocation of his factory of many years. His sister Gu Yuyan is brutally murdered. The case is investigated by Lei Yang, the Criminal Investigations Captain of the Municipal Public Security Bureau. Eventually, the long-entrenched criminal forces are eradicated, passing a milestone in the fight against corruption and organized crime at the rural grassroots level.
