    • Synopsis
    • The history of Argentine horror cinema is almost always a history of films that have been forgotten, lost or that fell by the wayside.
Within the first seventy years of the history of our cinema, only thirty horror films were made. As of 2007, production increased to more than three hundred, but even today many of the films that are filmed do not get to be released in our country. There is hardly any research or literature on the genre, as if Argentine cinematography preferred to deny it. There is a historical absence of preservation and dissemination policies. It could be said that the history of our horror cinema is made of cursed films.
Another Cursed Movie is a documentary that not only talks about the works of the great masters of the national genre, such as Emilio Vieyra, Narciso Ibáñez Menta or Mario Soffici, but also manages to rescue films and directors unknown to many, such as Six Passages to Hell or the work of Miguel Bejo.
Fernando Peña, Raúl Manrupe, Paula Pollacchi, Diego Curubeto, Laura Casabé, Pablo Parés and Hernán Moyano are some of the interviewees who, with their knowledge and their own experience in the genre, help us retrace the path of horror cinema in Argentina.
