Description
MIMESIS is a full cycle production company currently operating from Moscow, Russia and Vilnius, Lithuania. With 10 completed movies and 27 commercial videos produced in 4 years, Mimesis specialises in european co-productions and auteur cinema, having to this day produced shorts and documentaries in the UK, Greece, Brazil and Russia with France, Germany and Lithuania. These films have summarily participated in more than 100 festivals around the globe and won over 25 awards. Most awarded works include “Ruslan” (Best Short, Dieciminuti 2014 and Paradiso Festival de Cine 2014; Official Selection, Austin 2014), “Fedor’s Journey Through Moscow At The Turn Of The XXI Century” (Best Short, Cottbus 2015, Shnit 2016 and Premier Plans D’Angers 2017; Official Selection, Kinotavr 2015 and Krakow 2016) and “Milk” (official selection, Berlinale and Leeds 2017; criticts choice, Kinotavr 2017; best film, Shnit and Saint Anna 2017).
