Ilinca Calugareanu is a Romanian filmmaker with a background in anthropology. Her films explore hybrid forms of storytelling, mixing fiction and documentary, and have played in cinemas and festivals around the world, connecting with audiences on Netflix, HBO, Arte, Hulu, the New York Times or the Guardian.
