Description
Daniela Repas is a Bosnian born visual artist and filmmaker based in Portland, Oregon. She holds an MFA in Visual Studies and is a recipient of the Princess Grace Award for film in 2019. She was selected as an IEFTA emerging filmmaker in 2020. Her first feature film, currently in production, was selected as a spotlighted project at 2021 Cannes Marché du Film and MIFA Pitches at 2022 Annecy International Animation Festival.
Objective
My intention is to create projects at the intersection of mediums and genres. With focus on social and humanistic subjects, I aspire to make work that will resonate with artistic craftsmanship and evoke empathy, while pushing the boundaries of contemporary cinema.
