    • Welcome to Curiosity is a collection of interconnected short stories, with the fates of all of the key characters unwittingly intertwined, sometimes with fatal consequences.

      The Escapee

Psychotic mass murderer Lee Hunting escapes from a mental hospital. DS Binon (O’ar Pali) is assigned to track Lee down and she always gets her con. But will she find Lee before anyone gets murdered?

      The Heist

Dexter (Cristian Solimeno) pulls off a daring armed robbery for ex-father-in-law Max (Stephen Marcus). He’s teamed up with arch-nemesis Fordy (Richard Blackwood), Duffy (Lara Heller) and his loyal friend, Al (Eke Chukwu). After the heist, Fordy and Duffy double cross Dexter.

In the ensuing firefight, Al is shot and injured but he and Dexter manage to escape with the stolen money. They hide out on a rural farm, taking its owners Martine (Kacey Clarke) and Thomas (Christopher Rithin) hostage before becoming friends. Fordy sends the very dangerous Oz (Danny Howard) after them and the money. Before long, Oz ends up in the freezer and Dexter and Al are caught in a climactic fire fight with the double-crossing middle-man Max. Who will be the last man standing?

      The Hitchhiker

Tim (Gary Grant) is a struggling young beer salesman, on the road six days a week across the country. He accidentally picks up a hitchhiker Lewis (Terry Sweeney) who changes his life forever. Lewis takes Tim into the darker, seedier parts of town as well as his own mind, including a sexual liaison with a sexy pole dancer. But when things take a surreal turn for the worse, will Tim ever be rid of the ever-domineering Lewis and get his life back or will he doubt his sanity forever?

      The Runaway

Zoe (Amrita Acharia) is a young runaway who meets the dangerous and violent Sean (Jack Ashton) at a roadside cafe. The pair team up and Sean takes her under his wing. Will they find peace and happiness together or will tragedy prevail?

      The Serial Killer

Elliot (Finn Corney) is a young newspaper boy living in a rural village with a serial killer on the loose. Elliot is convinced that the killer is a local gardener – Stubbs (Brian Croucher) – who recently moved there, so he sets out to investigate. But as the net closes in on the killer, will Elliot find out the truth and live to tell the tale?
