    • Synopsis
    • Verdegris is an audiovisual essay-poem that immerses itself in the experience of agroecology: free of poisons, respectful of Nature and with a strong social and community sense; in particular the agroecological Tribe cooperative, trying to go as deep as possible.
The Agroecological Tribe is a vegetable and aromatic orchard worked by six members, Juan, Miguel, Rubén, Manuel, Sergio and Fabro, they practice biodynamics, very attentive to the cycles of the earth and plants, to spontaneous biodiversity and following a policy of non-interventionism. Working, in turn, in cooperative mode with another neighboring agroecological garden, Edith's garden, which belongs to the Bolivian community and knows many secrets of ancient Andean techniques.
Located in a place between the countryside and the city, a semi-urban area on the periphery of a large city (Rosario, Santa Fe), and also in a place of contradiction: on the one hand, the residents of the area are in a very vulnerable situation, and producing food surrounded by people who have very little to eat entails many difficulties. And on the other hand, the garden is right in front of a recently inaugurated prison, the "warden", for whose construction part of the tribu’s land was expropriated. The horizon is a large gray wall through which fences and control towers appear.
Verdegris explores these contrasts, these works and these routes, watching and listening very carefully as the days go by, as well as the visions and the future, so, in the words of Juan, "maybe we can dream of a possible future for people , but also for animals, vegetables and the microscopic world. "
