- Three tales baed on short stories by celebrated Brazilian writer Raduan Naassar.
  
  Part I: The Girl
  A Girl faces a series of situations as she walks through a small town. When she arrives home, everything is changed.
  
  Part II: TheThree Battles
  After being assaulted and humiliated at school, a Boy leaves his home and his mother - the Girl from the first tale. Wandering aimlessly through his small town, he is sheltered by an old man who starts training him for war.
  
  Part III: The Barefoot Congregation
  After arriving by himself at a big city, the Boy - now a Young Man, starts living in an old house occupied by all sorts of social rejects. He becomes their new leader, fights, is overthrown, judged, condemned and executed.
