- Synopsis
- 17-year-old John is released from the juvenile detention centre where he was serving time for the murder of his girlfriend. He returns home to his father, hoping for a second chance. But when he accidentally runs into the mother of the girl he had killed, it becomes impossible to ignore the fact that his crime remains vivid and painful for the local community. John’s presence becomes controversial; a lynch seems to be looming. Feeling abandoned by the people he loves, John loses all hope. The aggression that once ended in murder begins to build up again. Unable to deal with his past, John decides to confront it, and realizes that help can come from where he least expects it.
