    • Synopsis
    • Bertrand is a vet in a small private clinic in Paris. It's an absolutely routine job. Fortunately, Mr Yin's boa helps him out, as does an English bulldog whose owner has abandoned him. His wife Julie is a dubbing actress who wants to return to the stage. Their daughter Manon has discovered a passion for pantomime, so much so that she no longer utters a word and communicates only through a notebook.
Bertrand has been seeing Émile, his therapist, every week for over ten years. But for the last few days, Émile has been unreachable. However, Émile always answers Bertrand's messages, even those he sends at three in the morning, when he is overcome by suffocating anxiety or insomnia... And for good reason: Emile is dead.
Bertrand is stunned to discover that his disappearance was no mere accident, but a deliberate act. Driven by the desire to unravel the mystery surrounding this tragic act, he embarks on a quest that leads him to meet Florence, Emile's wife. United in their search for the truth, they both venture into a troubling relationship, seeking to decipher the complex enigmas that tormented Emile, whose memory haunts them.
