- Synopsis
- Facing the realities of life’s ups and downs, three sisters reunite, after years of estrangement, to complete their beloved Grandmother’s pilgrimage through rural Mexico. As young girls, sisters Maria, Sofia, and Lucia were best friends and relied on each other for companionship and support in an unstable household. Their abuelita and the story of her inspiring pilgrimage got them through those early years but as adults, they have drifted apart. When Maria discovers that she has cancer and near the end of life, she tricks her sisters into joining her on her pilgrimage to find a miracle. With an old map, no hiking experience, and their lives unraveling around them, the sisters encounter hilarious and touching experiences on the Talpa de Allende trail - that is until Kin, a local with a dark past, brings them together in order to reach the Miracle that awaits at the end of the trail.
