- Synopsis
- An ancestral coronavirus has been released due to the thaw produced by the Global Warming, causing a global crisis in which those infected sow chaos. A military convoy transfers the scientific delegation to the central laboratory to synthesize the cure, but the convoy is attacked by hordes of those infected. The only survivors; Captain Canum and soldier Johnson, try to escort the young doctor Allyson through the forest, full of infected, to reach the laboratory. On the way they get the help of an eccentric hermit named Scott, whose negative worldview confronts Allyson’s idealistic attitude; They question whether mankind should be saved. When they arrive at the destination indicated by Allyson, it turns out not to be the laboratory, but their home, where they rescue their son, but the place is besieged by those infected and Scott sacrifices himself to save Allyson, and with her to save mankind.
