- Synopsis
- 97-year-old young woman: Vitale. She loses the love of her life, returns home after forty years of exile, receives the most important award in Spanish literature and walks across the world. Ida Vitale travels on and on without moving away from herself, attentive to what others do not see. Strange and suspended in time, Ida experiences the sumptuous isolation she gained from another world: the world of words. From A to Z, the movie builds the story of the poet in 26 chapters where poetry and reality become one. Skipping from one letter onto another, Ida travels around the planet in a slow parenthesis: a tour full of unprecedented pauses.
