- Synopsis
- While relations between Beijing and Taipei are frosty, techno artists from both cities continue to exchange and influence each other. 'BPM ECSTASY' offers an unprecedented immersion in the alternative cultures of the two capitals, in the company of three emblematic artists: Elvis T./HWA (Taipei), SUNK and tamiX (Beijing).
  After twelve years in Beijing, where he was one of the pillars of the techno scene, Taiwanese Elvis. T/HWA resettles in his hometown. Somewhere between a return to his roots and a fresh start, Elvis discovers that his new life raises questions about his future. In Beijing, musician SUNK fuses traditional and ambient sounds. As audiences slowly return to the clubs, she takes the risk of organizing the first concert of her career. Also in Beijing, tamiX seems to have emerged from a metaverse. Having made a name for herself with her baroque use of synthesizers, she decided to fulfill her dream of touring abroad !
