    • Synopsis
    • After many years of life marked by PTSD 5 men and 2 women veterans of the wars in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq, travel to the heart of the Peruvian Amazon to participate in shamanic ceremonies to heal their traumas.

For them PTSD has become a real part of their lives; a heavy reality that traditional medicine has not been able to cure.
So, as a last act of faith, these veterans decide to travel to the Amazon rainforest in search of the much needed healing.
They must relive their own stories, and fight their own demons. Will they find the peace and redemption they crave through this ancient medicine?

Frustrated with a society that does not understand them, and not finding answers with conventional treatment methods, they decide to begin a journey of transformation that would change their lives forever.

These are their stories before, during and after this experience.
      Stories about war and spirituality.
Their stories, that could also be ours.
