Description
Founded in 2004 and based in Berlin, watchmen focuses on director-driven features and documentaries. Latest releases include NARDJES A. by Karim Aïnouz, which premiered in Panorama at Berlinale 2020, (M)OTHER by Antonia Hungerland (2018 DOK Leipzig), THE SURFACE OF THINGS by Nancy Biniadaki (2017 Thessaloniki); and FUTURO BEACH (Brazil/Germany 2014 Berlinale Competition) by Karim Aïnouz. Watchmen’s latest collaboration with Aïnouz, MARINER OF THE MOUNTAINS is premiering at Cannes 2021.
