Subtitle Distribution specialises exclusively in the acquisition and distribution of subtitled European films in the Irish & UK marketplaces, and was set up in December 2018. We have a fast growing list of popular titles, and recent acquisitions include: Frelle Petersen's "Onkel"; "Motherland" by Tomas Vengris; Mounia Meddour's Un Certain Regard selected title "Papicha", "En Guerre" (At War), "Nos Batailles" (Our Struggles), "En Liberté" (The Trouble With You), "Those Who Work”, and more...
Subtitle Distribution will distribute a selection of titles each year in Ireland, focusing on theatrical release, and also our festival. We release films in the major cities using established cinema outlets and opening up new theatres and venues with digital capacity. In addition, was also run SUBTITLE EUROPEAN FILM FESTIVAL each year, which showcases new European talent to audience. Our last edition was in Gdansk, Poland in Nov 2022. We are also looking at opportunities to expand our UK base.
