Description

Fondazione Cinema per Roma was founded seventeen years ago with the aim to promote Italian and International cinema by bringing world premieres, experimental film and all aspects of entertainment, as well as the audio-visual world’s key players, to The Eternal City. Every year, the Foundation produces and manages one of the most important events dedicated to the seventh art, the Rome Film Fest, which takes place at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, an extraordinary venue combining architecture, music & cinema in the heart of Rome.

Objective

The RFF is now one of the most awaited film fests of the year, on a national and international scale. Above all, the Fest is real celebration for the audience who vote for the People’s Choice Award. Yet it’s also a festival in its own right with two competitive sections and other cross-sectional awards with the view to highlight new talents and perspectives. The Rome Film Fest continuously strives to reshape its profile on the international circuit, counting on one of the largest red carpets in the world in one of the cities that has played a pioneering role in the history of cinema. The seventeenth edition of the Rome Film Fest will run from the 13th to 23rd October 2022.
