Description
Founded in 2004 by Jonas Allen and Peter Bose, the Danishproduction company Miso Film has produced a number ofsuccessful TV-series including DICTE, THOSE WHO KILL, VEUM,ACQUITTED and 1864 which have been sold to over 40international markets. This includes an American remake byFox 21 & Imagine Television of THOSE WHO KILL, starringChloë Sevigny. Miso Film is since 2013 partly owned byFremantle Media.Miso Film Sweden was launched in 2014. Sandra Harms(previously producer at Sonet Film / SF) is managing director.In 2015 Miso Film SE produced the 8x45 min thriller-seriesMODUS for TV4 Sweden. The series is written by 3-timesEmmy award winning duo Mai Brostrøm and Peter Thorsboeand directed by Lisa Siwe (The Bridge). MODUS is aninternational success and has besides Sweden been aired inUK (BBC), Germany (ZDF) and is sold to over 15 territories andcounting. Season 2 is currently in production to be released inthe fall 2017.
