Description
ARTE France Cinéma, a branch of ARTE France, supports the production of around twenty feature films, between two and four feature-length documentaries and one animated film per year. As a co-producer, ARTE France Cinéma receives a percentage of the revenues generated by the film's various exploitations (cinema, video, VOD, TV), which it reinvests in the production of new movies. In recent years, ARTE France Cinéma has co-produced films such as Ruben Ostlund's Triangle of Sadness for instance.
Objective
Our objective is to promote cinema, in particular european arthouse cinema, so that our movies have the widest impact possible on people's life and opinion. We also want to help and support new talentuous directors to make their first film.
