Description
The Alliance Française French Film Festival is an annual event presenting a diverse programme of contemporary French cinema to New Zealand audiences. Over the last 12 years, the Festival has grown to become the foremost French cultural event in the country. Drawing an audience of over 36,000, it is a truly national event.The Festival is organised by the French Film Arts Trust, a not for profit organisation, in partnership with the French Embassy and the network of the Alliance Française.
Objective
The Alliance Française French Film Festival 2019 will consider films that fit into the following categories: 1. Feature films from France which have not previously been screened in NZ. 2. Feature films from other French-speaking countries which have not previously screened in NZ. 3. Classic French feature films which have recently been restored or remastered.
