    • Synopsis
    • The painter, Ruslan Tsirmov is a handsome elderly man, painter and author of a new version of the Epic of the Nartes. An epic in the sense of the Odyssey, that of the Nartes, great mythical ancestors of the Circassians, people of the western Russian Caucasus.
      The Epic represents the heart of Circassian culture. In the Epic is the whole way of life and the form of thought of a people who have shown impressive resilience through centuries of genocide and oppression.
