    • The Square is essential viewing; the immersive story of the on-going struggle for Egypt – as it continues to happen. Starting in Tahrir Square in the days leading up to the fall of Mubarak, the film follows young Egyptian revolutionaries on their life changing journey. From poor to privileged, from secular to religious they reveal the euphoria of victory, the promise of elections, the uncertainty of Military rule and an insight into the present chaos – a bloody conflict of shifting alliances, tear gas and tanks.   A work in progress screened at Sundance and won an Audience Award despite being unfinished. Director Jehane Noujiam has doggedly continued filming and editing as events evolve over the summer and this extraordinary film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Never before has a documentary film won the Audience Award at both  Sundance and Toronto.
